A 501 C - 3 organization dedicated to providing a better quality of life to children suffering from life threatening illnesses. A program that makes children's dreams come true by allowing them to dress up in authentic western outfits and ride or simply interact with gentle rescued horses who seem to understand their situation.
We feel that children are precious and they should be free to experience the joys of youth, rather than forced to confront illness, pain, disability, and mortality. We feel that these children should be afforded an opportunity, even if for only a short while, just to be kids.
With this in mind, we dress them in western outfits; introduce them to gentle horses at their comfort level; provide a photographic record of their experience; and provide a lasting memory for the children and their families.
Our program which is totally free to the child and their family needs continuous support to cover the expense of feed, shelter, equipment, and veterinary care of the animals as well as tack, grooming equipment, western wear, facility maintenance, fencing, gates, and general ranch paraphernalia.
