As you may have heard, Prescott Trolley Company will be discontinuing Old West Trolley Tours as of August 1 due to lack of sufficient ridership.  We are saddened by this, but the bottom line is making a living, and the number of tourists taking the historic tour has not increased during the summer as we expected in spite of extensive marketing efforts.  We are, however, currently continuing our Wine Tasting Tours on our luxury mini-bus to Granite Creek Vineyards & Winery on Saturdays and Sundays from downtown Prescott.

There is currently an effort by some parties here in town to “save the trolleys” and keep them here in Prescott.  What we need is testimonials from people or organizations about how they enjoy seeing the trolleys, if they used them for private tours or event shuttles (Christmas parade & lighting, Elks Opera House, parks grand opening, etc.) and had a good experience, or how they just add “charm” to our city. 

So, if you could help, or if you know of anyone who could help by giving a written testimonial or suggestions on how the trolleys could be used here in town, we will forward them on to the interested parties.  Please send them to info@PrescottTrolley.com  and pass the word!  Help “save the trolleys” and keep them here in Prescott.
